color
Color is formed by light and is grouped into three different categories based on the way in which one interprets the color: subjective, objective and comparative. Primary colors, secondary colors and tertiary colors all form the basic color wheel, and all of these colors can be combined in numerous ways. Additionally, colors subconsciously affect how we think and feel. In the example below, you can see I used analogous colors within the blue family to create a sense of trust and confidence.

The logo below, which is the widely recognized Google logo, is an extremely successful execution of the use of color. A majority of the colors in use are primary colors (blue, red, and yellow), and there is one secondary color (green). The simplicity of the colors and the variety used appeal to a wide audience and evoke a sense of excitement and diversity.
